Community Education Centre High School

Imparting quality Education to the underprivileged children.

Community Educational Centre (CEC) School has experienced remarkable growth since its establishment
in 2005. Originally created as an informal educational setup aimed at providing quality education to
marginalized children, the school has now evolved into a full-fledged institution, rivaling other schools in
Dimapur in terms of both infrastructure and academic standards.

CEC School continues to push the boundaries of traditional education by adopting innovative teaching
methods such as experiential learning, which has transformed classroom dynamics. Interactive activities
have been incorporated into lesson plans, allowing students to engage more deeply with their subjects,
enhancing their understanding, and boosting their confidence and responsibility toward their studies.
A holistic approach to student development is central to the school’s mission. In addition to academics,
the school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as music lessons, sports, club formation, and
outdoor events. These platforms have allowed students to explore their interests, develop new skills,
and gain confidence. Modern infrastructure, including a new school building, library, IT classrooms, and
rooms for extracurricular activities, provides students with a promising learning environment.

Health and well-being are also a priority at CEC School. The school ensures students to access
healthcare, providing clean and hygienic facilities, including safe drinking water and well-maintained
toilets. Teachers and students benefit from a range of workshops, training sessions, and awareness
programs, promoting all-round development that complements the Nagaland Board of School Education
(NBSE) curriculum. Value-based education is emphasized through a variety of year-long activities, such
as study tours, winter camps, competitions, and commemoration of important days, all of which foster
non-academic talents alongside academic excellence.
Through its dedicated efforts, CEC School has become a beacon of hope for marginalized children,
creating an environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and personally.
