Rajeshwari Karuna School (RKS Tuli)

A project envisage in providing excellent learning centre at par with schools in urban cities to the children of rural areas.

Rajeshwari Karuna School (RKS) stands as a beacon of hope for rural and tribal children, offering them
the opportunity to access quality education similar to that of urban centers. Established with a vision to
bridge the gap in educational opportunities for children from rural areas, especially tribal communities,
RKS provides more than just academic learning. The school integrates holistic care, including
infrastructural support, nutritious meals, psychosocial care, education on health and hygiene, ensuring
that these children can enjoy their childhood in the same way as their urban counterparts.

At RKS, the essence of education goes beyond academics. The school’s values revolve around imparting
knowledge that transforms lives. Knowledge is seen as the tool that allows students to build character,
form opinions and shape their worldview. Teachers at RKS ensure that students are not merely passive
recipients of information but active learners, open to new ideas and experiences, with an emphasis on
practical learning. The school believes that while information is important, education is the key that
helps students interpret that information and apply it to real-world situations, leading to personal and
societal transformation.

RKS also takes into consideration the unique challenges faced by tribal children, such as being separated
from their traditions, languages and families when attending mainstream educational institutions. To
address this, the school places great importance on cultural integration. Indigenous games have been
revived and are included in annual sports events, alongside other games. Traditional dances, dotting
cultural attire are taught and performed during important school events, helping students maintain a
strong connection to their cultural roots.

As RKS continues to evolve, the school remains dedicated to nurturing not only the intellectual growth
of its students but also their emotional, cultural and moral development. The children have shown
remarkable growth in values, talents, intelligence and respect for diversity. RKS’s educational approach
aims to transform young minds and prepare them to create a better future, enriched with both modern
knowledge and deep cultural understanding.
